Transformation

In the reality of this world nothing is constant but change, constant consistent change. Once a truth has settled in, an immediate transformation occurs and produces an altered version of what truth once was: an evolutionary cycle of the world you knew. Others call this learning; I did not learn. My world was turned upside down.

In the beginning , my truth was Italian Cuisine, milkshakes during lunchtime with friends in school, semi-provocative clothing on weekends out with the ladies or at the house pouring over magazines, books at home, etc.

Now, one absolute truth remains, and that is love --love from which all my actions are driven, either directly or inter-connectedly in some way.

One afternoon the weather was sweet, and  I was told that I had to leave. Leave this country. Leave the blissful truth I have been living and breathing?

Leaving would be like dying. Everything I would have ever known and appreciated would be gone but in my memories. did everything in my past really happen? It does not exist anymore.
