Kylie Versoza Dazzles as Miss International 2016


Kylie Verzosa is yet another Filipina beauty who has made the country proud as she takes home the crown. At the 56th Miss International, she bested more than 65 other representatives of various countries and regions. The Philippines has once again prevailed as Ms Philippines, Verzosa, garners the 11th Grand Slam title for her home country. 

Versoza is 24 years old, stands at 1.75m-tall and hails from the beautiful city of Baguio. After graduating from Ateneo De Manila University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. She worked as a pre-school teacher and devoted her spare time volunteering at the Natasha Goulbourn Foundation, which is an institution that aims to raise awareness for mental health.

She is also a member of the Professional Models Association of the Philippines and has done ramp and print modeling. Last year, she participated in the Binibining Pilipinas Competition, one of the most prestigious national beauty pageants in the Philippines.

During Miss International 2016, each of the top 15 finalists were given a minute to give their speech. Verzosa nailed the speech segment of the pageant’s coronation night held at the Tokyo Dome City Hall, with her flawless speech on education, culture, and international understanding.



The Filipina beauty wowed the crowd with her sporting a beautiful green one-piece swimsuit during the swimwear segment and even more so, during the evening gown segment where Verzosa was elegantly stood in her floor-length, light blue beaded gown.


The beauty pageant expert, Missossology.org earlier predicted that Verzosa would only place sevent in this pageant but however, the expert noted that they also predicted Miss International 2013 title-holder, Bea Santiago to also make it only to the Top 7 but the Philippine contender also managed to bag the title that year. She was the last Filipina to bring home the crown last 2013. 

Miss International is regarded as one of the Big Four international beauty pageants, alongside Miss Universe, Miss World, and Miss Earth.
