Three Crowns, One Country

Tracing back the triumph of the Philippines in various beauty competitions put an edge over diverse potential countries as beauty queen representatives smashed three international crowns and fly them to their home-Philippines.

Megan Lynne Young, as young as 23 grabbed the one of the most competed titles throughout the globe and captured as Miss World 2013. For the record, for 63 years, she was the first Filipino woman who outshone hundreds of beauty queens around the world longing for the same honor. Young became the living model of humanity as she pledged to treasure a core value of humanity that guides people to act accordingly and use this to show other people how they can understand each other and be united in believing that everyone can help the society.

A year after, another head turning beauty, Angela Ong bested over 80 stunning contenders from different countries as she was crowned as Miss Earth 2015 in Vienna, Austria. As she accepted the challenge she also welcomed the pressures but, as a goal oriented lady, she poured out all that she has and blessedly woke up as Jaime Herrell’s successor raising the Philippine flag once more.

In the same year, Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach took a great leap as she owned the prestigious stage and became the most beautiful woman in the entire universe of 2015. She uplifted Philippines’ dignity when she became the 64th Miss Universe and said to be as the third Filipino contestant to hold the title. She started her dream after her third attempt at becoming Bb. Pilipinas. Bringing her dream in life, Pia gathered all her determination, courage, and strength not to disappoint her motherland and fortunately exceeded the expectations of her countrymen for finally, after forty-two long years, the crown is back to the original owner. Pia helps her countrymen not just by bringing glory to the country, but also by making every woman in particular, to be confidently beautiful with the heart.

As a nation that recently bagged three global victories, Philippines then is now  considerably noted as strong and tough competitor in this kind of competition.
