formed north to south in the Pujada Peninsula. It’s the home of a wide range
of plants and animal species, high above the sea level at approximately 75 to 1637

habitats as you climb the range, such as the Philippine eagle and Philippine
cockatoo.

(and 2nd in the Philippines) at Apo Reef National Park. Located in Sablayan,
Mindoro Occidental, Apo Reef is the largest of the islands of the park. The other
two islands are namely Pandan Island and Apo Island. It became a part of Unesco’s
World Heritage Site’s tentative list in 2006 The teeming and colorful wildlife includes
tropical fish, morays, snappers, and more.

is at Mount Iglit-Baco National Park. It was proclaimed a national park in
November  11, 1970 and became part of UNESCO World Heritage Sites Tentative list
in 2006. Make trekking the national park another highlight of your trip to Mindoro.
