Ghostbusters Reboot Review

Ghostbusters is out! Have you watched the reboot yet?

With a marvelous all-female cast, this 2016 reboot of the ‘80s blockbuster is a fun time 

at the movies.  The first part of the film was pretty spooky, yet the entire movie is funny 

and bursting with energy and hilarious one-liners.

After a ghost invasion occurs in Manhattan, paranormal enthusiasts Abby Yates, 

Erin Gilbert, nuclear engineer Jillian Holtzmann, and subway worker Patty Tolan 

work together to save the city and stop the otherworldly threat. A particular funny 

scene was one with Patty Tolan crowd surfing and dealing with some possessed 

mannequins.

At first they encounter difficulty proving the existence of ghosts in modern society. 

However, when strange apparitions begin to appear, Yates and Gilbert seek the help of 

engineer Jillian Holtzmann. Also, comedic star Patty Tolan joins their ranks. 

She is a true blue New Yorker who knows the city’s ins and outs. They’re ready for battle 

and armed with proton packs and plenty of sass.
